What you need:
- 1 package TMRW Spicy Sicilian Sausages, frozen
- 2 tablespoons neutral oil
- 1-2 heads broccolini florets and stems, sliced
- ½ cup green peas
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 10-12 basil leaves
- ½ package fettuccini noodles, cooked al dente
- 5 cups reserved pasta water
- ½ cup shredded parmesan
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ t chili flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- From frozen, slice the sausage into 1” diagonal pieces.
- Heat a nonstick pan to medium high and add 2 tablespoons neutral oil.
- Fry the sausages until golden brown, approximately 5-6 minutes.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- Using the same pan set to medium heat, sauté the peas and broccolini until they begin to soften. Add the minced garlic, basil, and chili flakes, and further sauté for 3 minutes.
- Add the reserved pasta water, ½ cup parmesan cheese, butter, olive oil and salt and pepper to taste, and mix thoroughly.
- Add the cooked pasta and sausage to the pan and mix to combine.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- (Optional) Serve with an additional few pieces of fresh basil, and more parmesan.
